It's Time for a Giveaway!

Hello Friends,

In honor of my Glitter and Grunge debut, I am going to do a giveaway.

Little Bradley and his cat could be yours! He's painted on a 4" x 6" chunky sided canvas and he's all ready for Halloween....only four months away but who's counting? ME! All you need to do is leave a comment telling me something you can't live without. And no mushy stuff! No my kids, my husband, blah, blah, blah! I want products, food, yummy ice cream flavor, whatever. I will draw the name Friday night.

I haven't been able to get to the studio because I hurt my back. Now, I'm not at all looking for sympathy. I simply want to share my sad, sad story with you to give you a chuckle:) So this is how I originally hurt my back. I was sitting on a bench with my legs crossed, twisting sideways ever so slightly to share a buttery pretzel with Alex and........that's it! I wasn't barrelled over by a mall cop chasing a shoplifter. I wasn't tripped by a crazy stroller wielding mom. I was just sitting! How sad is that? So this was about a month and a half ago and it finally was feeling better and then we went over a friends house who just got a trampoline. Helooooo! Can you see where this is going? Anyway, almost 40 year old gals have no business doing tricks no less, on a trampoline:)

The moral of the story is: Don't twist sideways while crossing your legs if you're 38 and if you do, don't do tricks on a trampoline with a six year old.

Have a great day and don't forget to stop over at Glitter and Grunge. There are a lot of great artists, including Dani from Ambitions Design.

Hi!
I love your work! So sorry to read of your "horrible" pretzel incident. And the trampoline. . .oh, I feel for you--the last time I thought my body was still like a 10 year old, I almost pulled my arms out of joint trying to swing from a tree limb. Ouch!
Hope you're feeling better.

Cathy

Welcome to Glitter and Grunge!

You are a brave brave woman to be doing tricks on a trampoline! I would never attempt it! LOL! Hope your back is better soon!

Ok the one thing I can't live without is Lime Kool-aide! I really wish they would make a sugar-free version though!

Congratulations on Glitter and Grunge!

I have just discovered your blog and it`s awsome, and so is your art :)

Hope you`re feeling better from your incidents... sorry but I have to laugh a tiny bit... it sounds like something I could do also, and I`m 30.

I would love to own one of your art pieces, so here`s one thing that I cant live without:
peppermint... I love the smell and taste of it.

Hope you`re having a lovely summer so far :)

I love your work! This is my first time stopping by and I am already trying to figure out what to buy first.:-) Hope your back is feeling better soon. I'm 39 and when I swing with my girls I get dizzy and sick to my stomach! How sad is that?! I used to swing until I had no energy left- when I was 10.....

OK- I can't live without fresh, cold iced tea with Splenda! I drink it all the time! (And the chips and salsa at Chili's...):-) Lori

Hey girlie...looking good over there at G&G!

I cannot live without 2 slices of toasted 12+ Grain bread with real butter everyday and homemade jams from my moms friend. I just love starting my day with my coffee and toast. Sounds boring but I am a carb girl 100%!

Gee, and all we have to do is tell you what we can't live without...strawberry Twizzlers. The best licorice, beats Red Vine hands down!! Still a child within!

Hi Tracy! You're still young at heart. That's why you thought you could get away with those moves. ;-)
Sweet painting you've got here! Currently I can't live without diet A&W root beer. It WAS diet cherry coke but then I started reading about how diet coke can disintegrate a nail in four days. :-0 Probably ought'nt be pouring that down one's gullet too often, huh?

D&D caramel iced latte with skim milk! (keep me out of the drawing, I prefer dogs :)
guess you were sitting in the wrong place at the wrong time! What a crazy story. Hope you feel better soon! Muscle strains do take a long time to heal, apply ice when sore.
I'm off to check out your G&G debut!

Ouch! I'm the same age as you and sometimes just waking up in have aches in my neck or back. How does that happen? I'm not ready to take geratol, know what I mean?
I've been so bad at blogging I'm thinking of taking a week or two off so I can spend time blogging, reading gardening, etc. So much too do that I find my summer is nothing but working.
I would love to win your painting and I think it's great you are a part of glitter and grunge. I want that Poe!
Well I'm eating a Dreyer's "Tangerine" popsicle (all natural) and during this hot summer I cant live without it. Perfect balance of cold, sweet and tangy:)

Oh, this is fun...I have so many things that I love. Quality lipstick ranks high for sure...dark choc absolutely. Right now I am dieting (usual) and I am loving Jello choc fudge instant pudding. Also, Trader Joe's 100 calorie dark choc bars. Delish! Do you even have Trader Joe's there? I love this painting. Thanks for the chance. Beth

Oh sorry about your back. My niece just broke her arm on the trampoline last weekend. Badly enough to need to pins put in it! So see, your age probably had nothing to do with it. :)
HOpe you feel better and good luck at Glitter and Grunge.

hi tRaCy!

I'm with LiLLian - I cannot live without diet Coke. I'm not sure when the addiction began and I know I quit cold turkey when I was pregnant (and I'm more than making up for it now), but it's just so darn tasty!

Congrats with Glitter & Grunge - fabulous work!
