I feel like Crazy Harry!

Crazy Harry from The Muppets

Saturday I made banana chocolate chip bread.

The batter looked kind of dry.

Not like it usually looks.

I looked around at all of the bowls to make sure I added everything.

All of the bowls were empty so I put it in the oven.

It came out dry.

Around 11:00 p.m., husband comes into bedroom to ask what this bowl of gross brown stuff is that he found sitting in the microwave.

Ummmm, that would be the banana.

So why upon eating the cake did I notice that it was dry, but not that it didn't taste like banana?

Hmmmm?

Earlier, I walked around for about 8 hours without noticing I had no battery in my right hearing aid.

It must have fallen out when I was putting it in.

What?

Sunday I spent an hour making a big pot of tomato soup so I would have something good to eat for lunch this week.

I put it into a plastic container and left it on the counter to cool.

I woke up this morning to find it still sitting on the counter.

I'm still going to eat it so if you don't hear from me it's because I'm in the hospital with some sort of stomach thing.

I went to Home Goods to walk around and relax only to find that EVERY isle I went into, there was someone talking on their cell phone.

I HATE CELL PHONES.

I don't really hate them.

They are great for emergencies and for making quick calls but I am so sick of feeling uncomfortable because I am forced to eavesdrop on a strangers conversation while looking at Christmas decorations. Really, I don't want to hear about Aunt Helen getting out of the hospital and how Uncle Bill is going to get her a wheel chair. Do you?

I wish I had a camera so I could take this picture.

I turned the corner in Home Goods to find a woman chillin' out in a comfy chair that was on display chatting it up on her phone.
What, are you at home?
Are you comfortable?
Do you need a drink?

I think I need a drink.
Want to join me?

Too Funny. I think you and I caught the same bug. I have been so floppy lately. I agree with you on the phones and what I really hate is texting....partly because I do not know how!!!

It's good to know I am not the only one who has weeks like that. Hope this week is better for you.

Loved this post! Too funny!

It makes me uncomfortable listening (without the option) to cell phone conversations too. Am I supposed to move to another aisle? Avoid eye contact? Ahh!

HAHA! I love your sense of humor..sounds like everything that happens to me:P
I agree with the cel phone thing..I dislike having to hear people talk loudly about trivial things, or being behind someone going 25 in a 45 lane and they're chatting away..don't get me started..
Have a great one Tracy!

p.s. I saw the Nielsons on Oprah and in the segment where she's giving the boys their bath I saw a painting of their children that looked like your style~was that your piece?!
