She knew he was the one for her as soon as she saw him carrying his copy of Mansfield Park.
(she is carrying a copy of Pride and Prejudice)
I recently snagged this huge bag of vintage Playskool wood beads for my little houses. But the round beads and the round/flat beads needed a little more thought. After I played around with them I decided to make people with vintage button hats. You can't tell from the picture but her button hat is reeeeeally awesome. It's a pearly pink flower with a "diamond" on top. For his cap I glued two cute buttons on top of one another. I think he looks handsome!
I think they met at the Jane Austen book Club.
This little couple, plus a few others, will be available in my shop on
RED FRIDAY!!
