Let it Snow, Let it Snow...

We have snow!

LOTS of snow.
I'm sure two feet of snow is nothing to a lot of you but it's a TON to us South Jersey folks.
This is by far the most snow my boys have ever had the pleasure to play in.

Now the storm came two days before my grocery shopping day so there is absolutely NO food in the house. Just peanut butter, bread, some crackers, dry cereal (because we ran out of milk) and we had the last of the canned soup yesterday.

I'm bad at preparing for things like this.
I was warned by the weather man for days, but I didn't believe him. (He's wrong a lot)

Anyway, the boys have a snow day today and it looks like we may have to venture to the grocery store as a family. I'm not a big fan of "family grocery shopping." I usually sneak out early Sunday morning and shop with a few men buying mass quantities of meat for football watching.

Wish me luck!

Wow that is a heap of snow, all we've got is ice and it's everywhere, can't even walk the dog at the mo it's way too slippery!!

You could always dig into that yummy jar of marmite if you get stuck for food ;)

it was a glorious snow fall...wasn't it? We had two feet here in Toms River! Hope you made it safely to the grocery store and back.

We missed it up here in Ontario, but you guys really got walloped!

Look at how much fun your boys are having! There is something very magical about a big snowfall (disregarding the low food rations LOL).

Good luck to you!
