mystery solved!

Thanks to Ginny Diezel for setting me on the right path,
I was able to find out what this weird thing is.

It's a Knobbed Whelk egg case!

What is a Knobbed Whelk you ask?

I know!

Now you, like me, are a little bit smarter than you were before you stopped by my blog.

Like I always say, I'm here to help.

Thanks Ginny!!

Wow, I would have never guessed that. I always wondered how those shell critters began! I remember one night while vacationing on the beach, everywhere we stepped in the wet sand our footprints glowed. We kept running around in the surf digging out feet to see the sand glow green. It only happened one night. After googling it we found out that there was a large amount of bioluminescent micro organisms washed ashore that night. It was the weirdest thing!

Hi Tracey!

Just wanted you to know that when I knew needed cheering up, I came to your blog to do it! The art, the colors, the humor...yay! :)

I've been SO behind, haven't made anything or blogged even because the duties of life are getting in the way...screaming at me to get done and that list never ends.

I feel bad that I haven't been able to keep up reading blogs. Today, though, it was just the thing I needed to go through my whole collection of your unread posts!

Thanks for making, posting, sharing your thoughts. It truly is appreciated! :)
