Tis the Season for Giving!

Hello Friends,
Let me just start by saying thank you for all of the kind and funny comments regarding my holiday meltdown:) If you can't share your short comings with the entire blog world,
who can you share them with?

I have finished with the last of the art work needed for the holidays, with the exception of a few ornaments for a friend, so I have decided to take the rest of December off.
Clean, decorate, bake, hang out with the boys.
Relax.

I wanted to have a little celebration to get into the holidays so I decided on doing a give away!

I will be gifting one lucky winner with one of my little
spool villages and I will pick a random winner at the end of the week.
All you have to do is leave a comment telling me your favorite Christmas cookie
....or just a favorite cookie if you don't celebrate Christmas.

So get commenting because I need ideas for all of the baking I will be doing.
Enjoy your day:)

my favorite holiday cookie is my great aunts soft ginger molasses cookies! The smell baking always brings me back to baking with my mom and sister as kids. But all year there are chocolate chip, peanut butter, and of course shortbread! Have a recipe made with those little yellow buttermints, the cookies are so yummy. Hmm maybe better go to the store to get some ingredients! Thanks for the chance to win some of your great art!

the first one that comes to mind are the Pecan Nut balls that are coated with powdered sugar!

Oh, yes, those pecan nut cookies covered in powdered sugar are delish...I remember a yummy one my great aunt used to make. She called them Italian wedding cookies, but I think they were her own version...if you know what I mean.

Enjoy your time off with the boys and have fun decorating!

Ciao bella,
Suzanne

PS
Cute spoolies...I remember seeing these in Somerset earlier in the year.

I love a simple chocolate chip cookie. Martha stewart has her daughters favorite recipe which is so good. So crispy and chewy at the same time. really good

Butter nut cookies are delectable! Google it. Absolutely to die for. Also called wedding cookies! Will cause weight gain so not many recommend! Great to make for gifts! Good luck Tracy! Enjoy the holidays!
