Happy Bertday Alex!

Happy 6th Birthday sweet Alex William!

The huggiest, kissiest little boy who ever lived.

Alex informed us that he thought it was called bert-day, not birth-day. When I explained that it was indeed birth-day, he then stated that he like bert-day better and he was sticking with it.

Ah, to be 6 again!

A Conversation with Alex

Me: Alex, I keep finding your dirty socks on the coffee table. From now on, I'm going to make you pay me a dollar every time I find them there.

Alex: Ok. But you're going to have to give me a dollar for every time I don't leave them on the table.

Me: That's not the way it works.

Alex: Then no deal.

***Art Note***
I am aware that this is an art blog and not much art has been going on. I apologize. I am currently working on 4 commissions...you know, the commissions I said I wasn't going to accept for a while? I can never say no and my current projects are a little different than what I usually do, so I'm enjoying them. I have a bunch of Halloween stuff in the works so stay tuned.
Enjoy your day!

Ha ha I love the sock deal, that's one clever boy!

The new camera is going to drive me insane i'm sure. It has a million different settings on it and none of them are like the one I used on the old camera *big sigh*
I'm going to try it out again tonight, wish me luck ;)

Sweet sweet boy. Bertday sounds good to me! When Caleb was 3 or 4 we taught him to call his undies "briefs" because it made all the menfolk cringe when we'd call them 'panties'. SO CUTE the way he said, "Breeps". I'd make up questions to him just to hear the answer that included the word, "breeps." :-)
