let the holidays begin!

starting with the
spookytime jingles november update.
tonight at midnight!
here are the items that i've been working on this week.

i'm so excited about these ornaments!!!
these ornaments are made from vintage wood thread spools with cute little
polymer clay rooftops and cut paper detail. they are a limited edition (my very first)
of 4 for 2010 and i won't be making any more that look like this!

these came out really cute too.
remember, it's never too early to start collecting for halloween:)

if you are interested in any of these ornaments, please email me at  thevintagesister@gmail.com
and i can give you the sizes and prices.

if you're not familiar with Spookytime here's how it works.
spookytime jingles is an online marketplace for people who love halloween and christmas.
at the website you will find a select number of talented folks who specialize in halloween and christmas art.
we do a few items especially for spookytime and they are up for grabs on the 13th of every month.
some of the artists let you pay directly from the site but others, like me, need you to send them a quick email and they send you an invoice to make payment.
if you ever see something you like on stj but it's already been sold,
contact the artist anyway.
more times than not, they will be more than happy to recreate something similar to the item you liked.
never fear!
everyone at spookytime is super friendly and very, very professional.

be sure to check out the site after midnight tonight or first thing tomorrow for first crack at some wonderful holiday pieces!

remember,

BUY HANDMADE this holiday season:)

i know what someone is asking for this christmas!

have a happy weekend everyone.

Those are too cute! I bet they take a lot of time to make. Your son looks so funny in that picture! How nice of him to give you that pose. Have a great day! :)

Wow, those are sooooooooooo adorable. I have used spools for some bottle brush trees, but these are so "fun". LOVE
