my toes are cold.

just popping in to say hello before i head into my little art room
to work on this guy.
i'm trying to do a series of circus like folks who like to balance things on their heads.
say what?
i know.
this chap is named Alexi Karpotov.
he balances fish.

i really need to find a way to be neater in the studio.
i'm painting him on a picture that i purchased at a flea market last year.
it was a circus themed piece so that's why it's tent shaped.

ah well, i'm off to turn the thermostat down to 62 and shut myself in my
little room and crank up the space heater.
i'll put my toes up nice and close and pretend i'm doing this.

keep warm and enjoy your weekend:)

I love your creative space--it looks dreamy. Can't wait to see what else you come up with using your Circus theme. Also, love those Martha papers your using--they are some of my favorites.
